Time4Advice today announced that is has added more features and functionality to its Client Portal. As a result, financial advice firms can now provide their clients with a comprehensive view of their portfolio and financial position across investments, savings, assets & liabilities, protection, and retirement planning.
Digital transformation
For some advice firms, digital transformation has become more than a way of remaining competitive, it has become necessary for survival. However, digitalisation is not simply taking what you currently do on paper and in spreadsheets and ‘computerising’ it. Ultimately, it is about giving your clients personalised, meaningful, and rewarding experiences whenever they choose.
Digital transformation is also about looking to the future. The financial advice landscape is changing rapidly. New low-cost advice providers are increasing the pressure to reduce advice fees. Furthermore, there is a new generation of wealth accumulators and investors whose expectations on how to access products and services is quite different from the way most advice firms currently engage clients. Whatever the future holds, one thing can be certain, data will increasingly become a firm’s most valuable asset.
Client Portal is an extension of CURO
The use of third-party Client Portals can often mean there is a mismatch of data and portfolio valuations with a firm’s back-office system. As a result, advisers and clients are often presented with information that is not aligned.
Our Client Portal is an extension to CURO, our Microsoft Dynamics based financial advice and wealth management system. As a result, it uses the same data, provider feeds, and third-party integrations. This means valuations and account balances are natively synchronised so that advisers and their clients see the same information.
Time4Advice and Microsoft
Being integral to CURO also means that our Client Portal benefits from Microsoft’s annual R&D spend of circa $2bn on their Dynamics application. This means Client Portal will continue to evolve and develop with new features and improved functionality being added regularly.
The Microsoft factor is also important when it comes to your client data security. Our Client Portal is hosted on Azure and benefits from Microsoft’s world-class security and hosting environment.
